Makeup fanatics know how difficult it is to acquire branded makeup items in Pakistan. The main reason behind not getting your hands on these items is the difficulty of supply and hiked-up prices as these brands do not have any presence in the region/country, which gives certain sellers the edge to charge a lot of profit.
One such brand is Selena Gomez’s ‘Rare Beauty’ that came out last year in 2020. If you have been able to get your hands on the products, consider yourself lucky as the brand did not ship internationally earlier. However, in a recent post on Rare Beauty’s official Instagram, Gomez has revealed that the brand has finally developed channels to bring the products to many international destinations after tirelessly working for months.
‘Rare Beauty’ on Wednesday posted on their Instagram that they are launching internationally on July 1. In the short clip, actor and pop star Selena Gomez says, “We will be launching internationally on July 1st. This has been an absolute dream of mine. I cannot wait for you to try the collection and see all of the looks that you create with my products.”
The official account of the makeup brand also shared a list of countries where the beauty brand will be available for shipping – France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Switzerland, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait.
A fan of the makeup brand dropped a comment saying, “What about Pakistan?” after discovering that while other Middle Eastern Muslim countries made it to the list, Pakistan didn’t.
Surprisingly enough, the brand noticed the comment and assured the fan by leaving a comment that said, “working on getting there soon!”
