While some users have pointed out that there is hardly anything good on sale, others have called out the e-commerce platform for hiking the prices by up to 50-60% pre-sale to fool customers.
Another social media user pointed out that Daraz is not the only one who does this, claiming that brands also pull off this trick during sales to gain profit.

Another netizen wrote:
‘That’s how brands do sale in Pakistan. It’s a total rip-off!’
On the other hand, some people disagreed and said they found good deals and that this is an excuse people make when they don’t know how to shop and make the most of Daraz 11.11 sales.
