The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has issued guidelines for the promotion of safe tourism on the 29th of May 2021. Accordingly, the opening of tourism was made under strict coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs), which are placed to protect not just the tourists but hotel staff/managers, tourist shop keepers, etc.
June 2021
As per the guidelines, after the first of June 2021, hotel staff is given orders to not book rooms for any person over the age of 50 years without a vaccination certificate.
July 2021
Furthermore, after the first of July, the presentation of a vaccination certificate would be mandatory for every visitor over the age of 30 years.
Valid Vaccination Certificates to Board a Domestic Airline
Gilgit Baltistan bound flights, PIA/domestic airlines to allow boarding to those tourists only who have valid vaccination certificates. Less than 30 years of age, tourists need to present a negative PCR test report. Locals and residents are exempted.

For Local and Internation Tourists
A health declaration will be presented to visitors, which they have to fill at the entrance of tourist spots in Pakistan. Along with that, they are required to bring a sufficient quantity of face masks and sanitizers on their trip. All travelers are required to wear face masks at all times and at every tourist destination.
According to the guideline issued on 21st May, International travelers must follow tests, quarantine, and vaccination policy. The NCOC guidelines said that camping will be allowed to travelers but given that they are at a reasonable distance and under strict SOPs.
Tour Guides, Hotels, and Guest House Management will be Vaccinated
The National Vaccination Policy ensured that tour operators, tour guides, hotels, and guest house management would be vaccinated. As a result, the tour operators and hotel management will be required to provide all passenger data to the district administration.
