Pakistani makeup artist hailing from Rawalpindi, Ayesha Khawar, has recreated 70 years of iconic Pakistani looks in just under 60-seconds.
She took it to her official Instagram page to share her looks, and we have to admit – in each era, she looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
She started off with a super-simple 1950s look with a simple look, kajal, paranda, and braids. – following that she transitions into a 1960s heavy kajal, curly hair and puffs look, followed by 1970s-inspired winged eyeliner, heavy hairdo with flowers, and rosy cheeks with gloss.
She continues to the 1980s with perm/curly hairs, rosy cheeks, saturated & contrasting eyeshadows(not blended) looks, the 90s with short hairs with bands, bright lipsticks & floral prints, and the 2000s with shimmery eyeshadows with dark corners, heavy eyes, straight hair, and half sleeves.
Last but not the least, she comes to the latest decade, for which she writes: ‘There are so many trends and fashion that arose in this decade but I went for something that is in the fashion nowadays. Glossy lips, dewy look, blended makeup, smudged eyeliner, highlights.”
