Manisha Ropeta, 26-year-old from Jacobabad has broken stereotypes, and her success has been an inspiration to women across the board. She was honored to be the first Hindu deputy superintendent of police (DSP) of Sindh with distinctions in the public service examination.
The news was revealed on Friday, and it spread like wildfire around the country. According to the results, she has secured 16th position in a merit list of the 152 successful candidates who competed in examinations 2019. The announcement was first shared by her brother, Roop Kumar Ropeta, after which the news got the attention of social media users.
He took to his Twitter account and wrote:

While talking to media, the newly appointed DSP shared:
“I am happy to have achieved the goal I had worked, dreamed, and aspired for, adding that I would try my best to serve the people of the country without any discrimination.”
After her success, she also shared that her sister has already started following her steps to join the police force and serve her country. Moreover, soon after the news was released, the PML-N minority MNA, Kheeal Das Kohistani, personally visited Manisha and congratulated her on the great achievement.
Khoistani said, “I wish and pray more females are also encouraged to come up in the government services and serve Pakistan”.
After her success, her sister has already started following her steps to join the police force and serve her country. We hope that everyone would recognize her exemplary conduct, performance, and outstanding performance.
