Malala Yousafzai is a well-known name in Pakistan and around the world, however, not much is known about her better-half, Asser Malik.
In a recent interview Malala opened up about her relationship with her husband, something which she does not do often. Malala talks about how her life has changed after marriage, and how she as a person has also changed after Malik came in her life.
While speaking to Dawn, Malala said that she was lucky to find Asser who is a great friend to her and an amazing partner. She also said that he always makes her laugh all the time and understands her as well as supports her in her work/projects.
She added that marrying him has changed life as she is now more relaxed, and she used to be very serious, but is now a bit laid back because when there’s a person in your life so brings so much joy to you, to your day-to-day life, it changes everything.
.Yousafzai also shared that they both enjoy each other’s company, and is often spotted with hubby Asser Malik on social media and during travelling and events.
The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony, out of the blue in 2021. She announced the news on social media and penned down a small note to share her feelings.
“Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life,” she wrote. “We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.”
