Gwadar’s development over the years is no secret. Due to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the city has been turned into state of the art. In recent developments, Pakistani actor Fakhr-e-Alam revealed the Gwadar cricket stadium, GOC Gawadar Gen Amer Najam’s vision, on the micro-blogging website.
The actor said in a tweet: “As a cricket lover myself, I have to thank GOC Gawadar Gen Amer Najam who has been the driving force behind making this venue truly a must-visit & must playground. Just simply spectacular.”

Cricket Should Move to Gwadar from Karachi
After a very long time, Cricket returned home, only at the cost of blocking roads and areas around the stadium to keep the players and others safe. Every time a match or practice session was held in the National Stadium Karachi, authorities would block signals, areas, and roads and cause great distress to Karachi. Many would either work from home or get stuck in massive traffic jams.
From the following video posted by Fakhr-e-Alam, the Gwadar stadium looks like the ideal place where the matches and practice sessions can be held not just because of the serene view but also because it is not in the middle of a hustling bustling city.
I actually got to play cricket at the Gawadar Cricket stadium…it’s a nice true pitch…great for batting…but the scenes are just so so spectacular…come to Gawadar and come play cricket with the locals…they are really good. #Balochistan #Pakistan #PakistanZindabad #cricket pic.twitter.com/1YQovyugMq
