Pakistani drama serial Parizaad’s final episode was aired last night on HUM Tv. Since then, fans have been reacting to the show’s beautifully crafted yet predictable ending on social media.  #Parizaad has been trending on Twitter and YouTube since last night.

The finale was also aired in cinemas a couple of days earlier than the TV release for whoever was impatient to watch how it all ended. The show has been described as a commercial masterpiece and is the most treasured drama serial, mainly due to the storyline and intelligent writing by Hashim Nadeem. The drama is based on a novel that goes by the same title.

The show garnered a great fan following for its gut-wrenching narrative and its promising cast that includes big stars such as  Urwa Hocane, Ushna Shah, Yumna Zaidi, Saboor Ali, Nauman Ijaz, Ahmed Ali Akbar, and Syed Muhammad Ahmed.

Fans were concerned whether the drama would end as per the novel or with a predictable happy ending.

A Twitter user wrote that we need to endorse out-of-the-box storylines and scripts delivered in each episode.

The last scene truly hit fans in a way they will never forget.

To top it all off, the cinematography in the beautiful Neelum Valley in the last episode was greatly appreciated by fans.

“The acting, the expressions, the story, the emotions everything was heart-melting.”

The show’s last scene is what has left a real mark on everyone who followed the show from the beginning to the very end.

Fans truly appreciated even the OST of the show sung by Asim Azhar

Both actors, Yumna Zaidi, and Ahmed Ali Akbar, were greatly appreciated for their performances for the show. They pulled off their characters well and so are deserving of recognition and praise for their craft

Ahmed Ali took it to the micro-blogging site and wrote in a tweet, “Thank you so much for all the love and prayers you have given to Parizad and the team behind it. You listened carefully to the words of Hashim Nadeem, followed the storytelling of Shahzad Kasmiri, and understood the tiniest nuance of Parizads personality. We are humbled & grateful!”

All good things come to an end!

It’s no secret that this is the most eventful time of the year for Pakistani drama makers when publications, journalists, critics pour out love for the work produced by them in the past year. For someone like me who ends up watching a drama or two each year, I usually expect them to make it to everyone’s top 5 list because there are only a handful of drama serials, in my opinion, which was substantial.
