The Drama serial ‘HUM TUM’ featuring Ahad Raza Mir, Ramsha Khan, Sarah Khan and Junaid Khan in lead roles is being appreciated online for depicting strong female and supporting male characters.
Currently, on-air on Hum Tv as part of the Ramadan releases, the drama serial is a “2022, modern and Gen Z rendition of a hate to love story.” Only two episodes have come out as yet, and it has already garnered quite a following with its content that breaks genre stereotypes. As reported, new episodes of the drama serial will release daily from 9 pm. The drama is written by Saima Akram Chaudhry.
What’s the Story About?
The story revolves around the concept of “opposites attract”. In the drama, Ahad and Ramsha are two characters with personalities that don’t match. Their initial hate, however, transforms into love. The drama has been trending on Twitter ever since the second episode was released.

A Twitter user highlighted the refreshing content and reverse gender roles depicted in the drama serial, “The innovative concept of breaking stereotypes in #HumTum is refreshing to see. I love how the girls are independent and are the ones excelling in studies and sports while the guys are helping out with domestic work and are involved in hobbies like cooking, gardening etc”.

Hum Tum is not a conventional Ramzan play, pointed out another user. “I personally like the fact that #Humtum isn’t your conventional Ramzan play with more emphasis on cringe comedy and lame-ass antics. Despite the comedy part being a bit underwhelming the drama as a whole has a very feel-good factor meaningful plot which makes it much more relatable ig.”
