In Pakistan, single mothers don’t really have a lot of benefits. Therefore, when it comes to finances, such mothers are mostly struggling. They are overworked day and night to put food on the table, provide healthcare, provide education, and fulfill all their children’s little desires until they stand on their feet.
One such mother from Karachi is Rukhsana Shoaib from Karachi, who is working for Careem for the past two years. She is a female captain who is smashing stereotypes by doing 3 jobs altogether so her son can have a better life in the future.
Shoaib hails from Karachi. Apart from being a Careem driver, she is a chef and then a physiotherapist. She also has a diploma in Information Technology (IT) from Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC).
What Does a Normal Day in Rukhsana’s Life Look Like?
It is not easy to have 3 jobs at a time, so naturally, her daily routine is hectic. She begins her day by scheduling her patients for physiotherapy. Once she’s done her job as a physiotherapist, she begins to take rides as a Careem Captain. Later, in the evening, Shoiab completes orders for her food business.
How does she get by her day? Of course, the love she has for her child is far more superior than any, so she ensures that she works enough to provide him with a decent life and, above all, good education. He is her motivation, and she has high ambitions for his future.
