As reported, a female customer without a mask lashed out at staff at Karachi’s famous eatery, Okra Test Kitchen. The reason being? The staff asked the female customer to present her vaccination certificate or proof that she was vaccinated, to serve her.
It is made mandatory by the government of Pakistan under the COVID SOPs that restaurants must only allow vaccinated individuals to dine in to ensure the safety of not just the customers but everyone in a close radius.
It was simple, the customer had to present the proof of vaccination, and all would have been okay. However, she chose to create a scene at the eatery. She lashed out at a chef and accused the staff of violating her rights by asking for information regarding her medical history.
In a clip circulating on social media, the customer is heard saying, “Can you stop asking me for my medical privacy?”, “Who are you to ask me about my medical privacy?”. “You are in violation to me,” “You are in terrible violation of the constitution of Pakistan.”.
As soon as the chef took out his phone to call the authorities, the customer quickly exited the eatery. While she was leaving, she said she was a “human rights activist.”

RJ and journalist Sabah Bano Malik tweeted concerning the incident. She said in a tweet, “the entitlement, the dismissal, of peoples concerns, the not wearing masks, the “jo hoga hoga” attitude -it’s gross, people are gross, GROSS.”
I cannot stress enough how little respect I have left for people due to this Pandemic – the entitlement, the dismissal of peoples concerns, the not wearing masks, the “jo hoga hoga” attitude – it’s gross, people are gross, GROSS https://t.co/SmZWKXbtJL

Others praised the chef, “Goof on him for standing his ground.”
Just saw a video of a Pakistani Karen screaming at the Okra Test Kitchen chef for (I assume) asking for her vaxx card. Apparently, he was violating the constitution 👀 (lady, I have a list of who done that) & she was a human rights activist. 🙃 Good on him for standing his ground

If she were anywhere in the world, she would have been pushed to the ground and handcuffed before the duration of this video was over.
Entering and yelling in a public cooking facility without a mask… If she was anywhere but Pakistan, she'd have been pushed to ground and handcuffed before the duration of this video was over. https://t.co/HnsuqzOo1R
