After 6 months of being shut down, wedding halls were allowed to reopen on the 15th of September all across Pakistan but strict SOP guidelines must be followed. SOPs are as follows; Any wedding hall failing to follow these guidelines will be fined and even sealed.
- Halls to use only 50% of their capacity
- No hugging or shaking of hands
- The halls will be sanitised regularly during intervals- itnerval of 2 hours between different events is a must
- Wearing face masks is compulsory for everyone inside the halls
- Only close family members and relatives will be allowed to attend the wedding
- One family will be allowed to sit at one table
- The tables will be placed at a distance of one meter
- Food will be served at each table or a buffet system can be practiced
- Visitors will be checked for fevers with a thermal gun before entering
