The United Kingdom (UK) has revised its travel advisory on Friday. According to the latest updates, Pakistani passengers are no longer required to self-quarantine if they are vaccinated. The only requirement for them is to take a day 2 test after arrival.Ā This will make it easier for more people to travel to the UK after the 11th of October.
If you have arrived in the UK before 4 am on Monday 11th of October, you must follow the rules for passengers who are not fully vaccinated.Ā If you arrive after that, you can use a vaccine certificate to prove your vaccination status.
From 11 October passengers arriving from šµš° with full UK-approved vaccine will only need to take a day 2 test in England, no self-isolation, using their NADRA certificates Cc @fslsltn @Asad_Umar šhttps://t.co/YKfqKy6czq

Selected Vaccines Only
While the UK government has eased the process, it is to be noted that not all vaccinations are approved. Only passengers who have received Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca doses are spared from the self-isolation after arriving in the UK from Pakistan. In Pakistan, a small amount of the population was able to receive the vaccine as mentioned above doses.
The UK has stated that it is not to accept any passengers with any Chinese COVID-19 vaccine. Any passengers returning from Pakistan to England will no longer be required to enter hotel quarantine.
The Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar took it to Twitter to take a jibe at the UK for not accepting Chinese vaccines, even after they are approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Taking to his official Twitter handle, the minister wrote: ā [The] the UK decides gora certificates [and] vaccines are okay, but most non-gora vaccine certificates [and] Chinese vaccines are not. This despite widespread evidence of fake certificates in [the] US [and] Europe.ā
