1. Jehan Ara

The first name on our list is the woman who is known as the ‘Tech Guru’. This amazing lady has created countless opportunities, especially for women in tech. She is the mastermind behind the renowned platform P@SHA (Pakistan Software Houses Associations). She is also the founder of The Nest I/O – a technology incubator and community hub backed by P@sha, Google, Samsung, and other very big names.
Jehan Ara is not just active in the Pakistani markets but has cracked her way through into the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and many other countries in order to provide clients with top-notch software products and services. Nowadays, she has founded another accelerator and innovation hub Katalyst Labs and dedicates her time there.
Moreover, she has been invited by several tech leaders from around the world to discuss the future of technology. She was even invited by USA’s former President Mr Barak Obama in 2016 as a guest speaker for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
2. Laraib Atta

World-famous VFX artist Laraib Atta, daughter of musical maestro Attaullah Khan, is yet another Pakistani we are proud of. Hailing from Mianwali, Punjab, she has worked on several globally acclaimed titles, the very recent being Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Other works include – Godzilla, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Tenet, No Time To Die, Doctor Who, 10,000 BC and more. Most importantly, Laraib and her team were nominated for an Oscar and BAFTA for their hard work for No Time To Die.
3. Nabila Maqsood
Nabila Maqsood is the famous ‘Boss Lady’ behind the global brand – Nabila. This gem of a person first opened her doors in 1986, and since then has reached for the stars. Her hard work and determination have paid off as she is also the proud owner of N Gents, a nail salon, and Zero Makeup product line.
That’s not all, this powerhouse is also the person who made every single Bollywood star look their level best on the red carpet of iifa 2022. What an entrepreneur she is, bravo!
4. Nida Farid

Asides from global warming and the water/food crisis, Pakistan also suffers from massive power problems. Having a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from MIT and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from ETHZurich, Switzerland, Nida Farid is the trailblazer behind ‘Karachi Energy Conservation Awareness-Small Tricks for Large Savings’.
she personally believes that through proper education and awareness, 70% of power issues can be resolved with ease. According to her, the right appliances being used at the right time can make all the difference.
5. Azima Dhanjee

Azima is the founder of ‘ConnectHear’ and an alumna of the U.S. government-funded Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program. Her platform is helping to change the lives of differently-abled individuals by providing them independence through sign language interpretation.
Moreover, ConnectHear has become Pakistan’s first-ever one-tap virtual sign language interpretation solution and the application is available throughout 106 countries. For her incredible accomplishment, Azima Dhanjee received a token of appreciation from the First Lady Mrs. Samina Arif Alvi.
