The dramas produced by ISPR hold similar themes as they revolve around stories of people usually set to serve the country or are currently training. The dramas not just set off feelings of patriotism but also serve as great insight into the people’s lives in the Pakistan Army.

The audiences now take a keen interest in drama serials of such themes as they have finally shifted from saas-bahu stories to meaningful narratives and gut-wrenching storylines. The ISPR has backed many drama serials, out of which we have selected the top 5 for you to binge-watch:

1 – Sinf-e-Aahan

Sinf-e-Aahan has currently garnered all the buzz around town. It is the most popular drama series of ARY Digital presently trending on social media, produced in collaboration with ISPR. The show producers are Humayun Saeed, Samina Humayun Saeed, Shahzad Nasib, and Sana Shahnawaz, while it will be directed by an acclaimed director Nadeem Baig. Perfect choice to binge-watch today!

2 – Ehd-e-Wafa

Ehd-e-Wafa is a Pakistani television series created by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and Momina Duraid under MD Productions, aired on Hum TV. The show stars Ahad Raza Mir, Osman Khalid Butt, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Wahaj Ali in lead roles. It became the third most searched item among the category of ‘Movies & TV on Google in Pakistan. The storyline of the show revolves around four school friends.

3 – Alpha Bravo Charlie

Produced by ISPR in 1998, Alpha Bravo Charlie became a popular show in Pakistan. It was directed by Pakistani drama and film director Shoaib Mansoor. The drama revolves around themes of romance and comedy while reflecting on the Pakistan Army’s operational involvement in the Bosnian War and Siachen conflict.

4 – Jaan Hatheli Par

Jaan Hatheli Par is a 2013 produced by ISPR and Amjad Hashmi and aired on Urdu 1 and PTV Home. The drama centers around the courage and patriotism of Balochis. It also demonstrates the issues and insight into the situation in Balochistan.

5 – Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahi Hai

Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahin was produced in 2009; the drama serial is the most ground-breaking creation in the history of Pakistani television. The show was directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Asghar Nadeem Syed. At the time, nothing like this has ever been attempted in terms of content, depth, style and sheer scale on a deeply resonating yet sensitive subject.

Amreli Steels, Pakistan’s Largest Selling Brand of Steel Bars, celebrated Pakistan Resolution Day near Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi, on 23^rd March 2021 by recreating Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s presidential address from 23^rd March 1940. The sketches of Quaid-e-Azam made from Amreli Steels rebars came to life through Projection Mapping Technology to deliver a truncated version of his original address. It was followed by a mesmerizing display of Fireworks and Lightshow.

All activities and arrangements were done with strict adherence to government-issued SOPs to avoid coronavirus spread. The entire event was covered by mainstream and digital media and also streamed live on Amreli Steels’ official Facebook page.

One of our contributions is this Amreli Steels Circle with the portrait of Quaid-e-Azam that has been made with our steel bars. It is here to remind us of the values from which our great country was born – equality, tolerance, peace, and progress. Our independence changed the map of the world. Now, it is only through economic progress that we can become one of the leading nations of the world.”

Guest of Honor, Mr. Saleem Mandviwalla, Former Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, appreciated the celebration held on Amreli Steels Circle and regarded Amreli Steels as a brand of purpose that always plays its part beyond its financial contribution to Pakistan. He concluded by saying,

“The message of Quaid-e-Azam is especially important for the youth of this country as they will shape our future.”

This event was a follow-up to the tremendously successful activation to celebrate “Surprise Day” on 27^th February 2021 at the Amreli Steels Circle. The Chief Guest on that occasion was Mr. Murtaza Wahab, Advisor to the CM Sindh. Since its unveiling in April 2018, Amreli Steels Circle has become a must-visit location for photography in Karachi.

People from all walks of life are regularly seen taking selfies and making videos of themselves and their loved ones at the Amreli Steels Circle.
