A 14-year-old boy, Alemaan  Khan, from Islamabad, has left everyone in shock as the genius has now started his 4th outlet. The eatery called SMASH’d It shared a post about how proud they were of the young entrepreneur. Moreover, parents could not stop themselves from praising his parents for encouraging their son to pursue his passion.

One such parent took it to Facebook to complement the young lad’s success and to salute his parents. She writes:

“MashaAllah, hats off to the parents who listen to their son’s passion. It gives me more motivation that I will also support my kids if they want to pursue a career as a chef. I’m a software engineer with a Master’s in project management, boasting 10 years of experience in software houses. Now, I’m working as a home chef myself.

This child is truly inspiring for those who are still confused about their kid’s careers, whether it’s government jobs, private jobs, or something else. Not everyone considers owning their own business, but prayers are with this child, and i’ll visit, InshaAllah.”

The Need for Parents to Motivate Children

Motivating children to start a business from a young age can instill invaluable entrepreneurial skills and a mindset that will benefit them throughout their lives. Parents play a crucial role in this process by nurturing their children’s curiosity, creativity, and resilience.

Encouraging them to explore entrepreneurial ventures fosters a sense of independence and initiative, teaching them to identify opportunities, take calculated risks, and adapt to challenges. Moreover, starting a business at a young age provides practical lessons in financial literacy, time management, and problem-solving, which are essential for success in any career path.

By empowering their children to pursue entrepreneurship, parents not only equip them with essential life skills but also inspire them to pursue their passions and make meaningful contributions to society.

Furthermore, early exposure to entrepreneurship can ignite a lifelong passion for innovation and social impact. Children who start businesses learn to think critically about the world around them, identifying problems and envisioning creative solutions.

Through their entrepreneurial endeavors, they develop a sense of responsibility and empathy, understanding the needs of their communities and finding innovative ways to address them. This early exposure to social entrepreneurship can cultivate a sense of purpose and drive, motivating children to use their skills and resources to make a positive difference in the world.

By encouraging their children to start businesses, parents not only nurture their personal and professional development but also inspire them to become compassionate leaders and changemakers in their communities and beyond.
