Santex Products Pvt. Limited has collaborated with a startup from Lahore, Swyft Logistics, to promote a menstrual policy for their female staff.
As per studies that have been conducted recently, women at work are impacted if there is a lack of menstrual hygiene management and resources. Hence, it is essential to provide them with a safe environment to positively impact women’s chances of permanent employment, productivity, and absenteeism.

Women frequently join workspaces in Pakistan as teachers, engineers, doctors, corporate employees, and leaders. So it is important companies/organizations make full efforts to ensure that workplaces are women-friendly.
This collaboration has taken place between Santex Products and Swyft Logistics for this very purpose. The sanitary brand has joined hands to empower women from diverse socioeconomic strata and has addressed this need by engaging corporate stakeholders to establish a period-friendly workspace.
In November, the tech-based logistics startup from Lahore was applauded for introducing a commendable ‘period policy’ where women are allowed to take ‘Monthlies’.
Swyft Logistics workforce comprises 30% of female employees, and the latest policy is to cultivate a culture of acceptance and trust. Today, female employees can take days off work without pretending to be sick or stuck in some emergency when on their period.
The Manager Sustainability and Outreach at Santex Products Pvt. Ltd., Erum Adnan, remarked, “A holistic menstrual strategy at workplaces will enable women to work under optimal conditions and increase their productivity. We are happy to be part of this initiative and support the physical and emotional wellbeing of our women.”
