Parishae Adnan, the daughter of Amir and Huma Adnan, has launched her own brand called ‘House of Parishae’. The debut collection titled ‘Un Gaze’ is unlike other collections.
‘Un Gaze’ meaning to retract your gaze or stir up an act, is a direct hit at ‘haters’ and those who try to ‘throw shade’. The collection focuses on abolishing stereotypes while giving a new form to feminine power.
The photography and outfits show women as warriors, made of steel that can not be broken or mended easily, feminine yet masculine in her own way, taking power in her hands.
Moreover, the inclusive collection has roped in influencers from all walks of life including Faiza Saleem, Sabah Bano Malik, Mehrub Moiz Awan, and others.
Furthermore, each piece of the collection is unique. She has used non-replicable wardrobe pieces made from vintage Amir Adnan sherwanis, increasing the lifetime value of the outfits by re-using decades-old, custom-made fabric.
‘Interweaving the concept of decorative armour used to protect oneself in battle with empowering women by providing wardrobe pieces that embody strength and courage’, read a post on their social media while describing their collection.
Another read:
‘Architectured designs, structured fits and the mapping of a journey from fabric to armour.’
