Did you know Karachi has a young entrepreneur who hasn’t even finished school yet? It’s true! Meet Mohammad Anas Asif, a 13-year-old whose ambition and drive are only matched by his achievements.
You would think that he’d rather play games and have fun, but instead, he’s ready to take the world by storm and make his dreams come true.
Becoming A Prodigy
His journey started as an intrigued 9-year-old who joined the Techno Kids program arranged by Saylani during the lockdown period. This experience had a profound effect on the youngster and he went on to complete even more courses that would build on his knowledge of IT.
At the moment he’s received training in SEO, Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design, and Web App Development. His cheerful approach to taking these courses earned him the nickname “IT ka Cheetah” from his teachers.
Making the Dream Real
But Mohammad Anas Asif wasn’t satisfied by just learning, he knew in his heart that there was more he could do with all the knowledge that he’s been able to gain. And this was what motivated him to start his own business, where he teaches others as he was taught. The company itself is Neon Genius but the venture of teaching others is under the Neon Genius Institute.
Currently they’ve had 2 batches of Web Development students, 1 batch of Graphic Design, and 1 batch of CCO. Mohammad Anas’ passion for the project shines through, as he plans on adding more courses and programs as he completes them himself.
Potential That Speaks For Itself
And as impressive as all of this is, it’s also crazy to think that he’s won several awards at his school and won International competitions on top of all this. And if you think that’s where it ends, it doesn’t; he’s even a Teacher’s Assistant at SM IT College.
With so many achievements and projects under his belt at 13, it’s easy to see Anas Asif reach the highest heights as he gets older. He has spoken about wanting his company to have the same recognition as YouTube or Google, and one has to think, with a mind like his it just might be possible.
It’s nothing short of inspiring to see someone so brilliant chasing an innocent dream, proof of the fantastic potential that Pakistan’s future generation has. It feels equally hopeful and heart-warming to know that youngsters like Anas will be there to lead the way.
