He encouraged women to step forward and actively participate in various sectors to contribute towards the holistic progress of the nation. Additionally, he revealed plans to establish a third university exclusively for women in Rawalpindi.

However, the market could not be operationalised due to its placement within 11th Avenue’s right of way.
In answer to another query, the minister furnished information regarding the wastewater purification facility situated in Sector 1-9/1. He elaborated on the plant’s overall capacity of 17 million gallons per day, specifically tailored for residential sewage treatment.
The facility receives an estimated 3-4 million gallons of untreated residential sewage. Moreover, approximately 20% of the purified water is allocated for the upkeep of green spaces, nurseries, and vegetation within the vicinity.
Advantages of a Women-Only Market
The establishment of a women-only market can bring several benefits to the gender. Firstly, it provides a safe and comfortable space for women to engage in economic activities without the potential challenges and barriers they may face in mixed-gender markets. This enables women to freely showcase their entrepreneurial skills and talents.
Moreover, a women-only market fosters a sense of empowerment among women by creating opportunities for them to become financially independent. It allows them to take control of their economic well-being and contribute to their families livelihoods.
Additionally, a women-only market can facilitate networking and collaboration among women entrepreneurs, leading to knowledge sharing and skill development. It can serve as a platform for mentorship and support, enabling women to learn from each other’s experiences and enhance their business acumen.
Furthermore, the existence of a dedicated women’s market can encourage more women to enter the workforce, promoting gender equality and reducing the gender gap in economic participation. It sends a positive message that women’s contributions and economic potential are valued and acknowledged.
Overall, a women-only market uplifts women by providing them with a conducive environment to thrive economically, fostering empowerment, entrepreneurship, and gender equality.
