There are expected to be four models for the iPhone 12: the 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. All four are expected to be similar to the iPhone 5’s design of flat machined edges, and slimmer notch.

The iPhone 12 Pro could launch with a 120Hz display, however, a new leak reveals that Apple may not be able to pull off this feature in time due to missing hardware. Moreover, the iPhone 12 release is rumoured to bring price reduction for the iPhone 11; it is rumoured to bring the end of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XR.

Even though new iPhones typically launch in September, several reports have hinted towards a delayed release date for the iPhone 12.
Chief financial officer Luca Maestri, during an Apple earnings call, said that iPhone 11 shipped in September last year, but added “this year, the supply of the new product will be a few weeks later than that.”

This points towards an October release which is also what leaker and analyst Jon Prosser has said. Prosser also claims that the the two iPhone 12 Pro models will release in November, so it will be a flabbergasted launch.
Apple will hold its event on October 13th or October 14th, read A Twitter thread from @LeaksApplePro; it also revealed that the new iPhone 12 will include better cameras, more RAM and the A14 Bionic chip.

The most recent leak from @komiya_kj on Twitter reveals that the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 will start at $699 for 64GB. While the iPhone 12 Max of 6.1-inch will be $799 for the same storage.

If Apple decides to sell 4G LTE-only versions, then it’s possible that the pricing could be less expensive. The above pricing is expected to be for 5G models of the iPhone 12. In addition, according to a research note form Wedbush Securities, one iPhone 12 price report claims Apple will be releasing a 4G LTE iPhone 12 in early 2021.
