Sarosh is an internationally recognized freelancer from Islamabad, Pakistan. She risked it all and left her corporate job to become a full-time freelancer in 2009. Today she is recognized by an international payments processing company, Payoneer, as Freelancer of the Year. She believes that for women, freelancing is a better option compared to a 9-to-5 job.

Sites such as Upwork and Fiverr are specially designed for freelancers, where you are required to keep working in order for you to keep your account. These sites have some rules that you must abide by in order to earn. You can start with small projects that pay less amount. These projects can vary; from content writing to graphic design, there are many fields to choose from.
Once you begin working, you must focus on building on the portfolio by providing excellent services and submitting work within the allotted time. Once your portfolio looks good and your previous clients leave good reviews about you on the site, more and more international clients assign you with projects. It depends on how much work you can pull through within a month but on average, if you work 5-6 days a week, 8 hours a day, you can easily earn a 6 figure monthly salary.
