Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh, currently on tour in the United Kingdom, invited Pakistani actor Hania Amir to join him on stage during one of his London performances. Hania, who was attending the show, initially hesitated but eventually agreed after Dosanjh encouraged her to come up.
When she stepped on stage, Dosanjh referred to her as a “superstar” and performed his song “Lover” while Hania applauded. At the end of the performance, Dosanjh handed her the microphone, and she warmly thanked him, saying, “Thank you very much for having us. Thank you for entertaining us.”
As she returned the mic, Dosanjh expressed his admiration, saying, “I’m your fan. I love your work. You do amazing things. Thank you so much for coming.”

At the same concert, a fan jokingly asked Hania, referencing a popular meme, “You don’t have enough money to pay rent, so what are you doing here, Sharjeena?” Hania responded with laughter.

Earlier, during a performance in Manchester, Dosanjh had invited another fan on stage, presenting her with a signed pair of sneakers. Upon learning that the fan was from Pakistan, he asked the audience to applaud her, advocating for love and unity between people from India and Pakistan.
He emphasized that both nations are one, saying, “There is love for everyone in Punjabi hearts,” while highlighting that the borders separating the countries were “creations of politicians.”
