Daraz has been hosting the 11.11 sale on a full scale for a few years now. However, recently the platform has received backlash from netizens.

While some users have pointed out that there is hardly anything good on sale, others have called out the e-commerce platform for hiking the prices by up to 50-60% pre-sale to fool customers.

Another social media user pointed out that Daraz is not the only one who does this, claiming that brands also pull off this trick during sales to gain profit.

‘I added something to my cart but before I could place an order it was out of stock. I NEVER PLACED AN ORDER. And today I got an email that my parcel is shipped’ wrote a user.

‘That’s true, I ordered M10 earbuds a month ago and yesterday, when I saw those earbuds on sale..Literally saalon ne usi ke paise zyada btaa ke usy kata hua tha or uski qimat 100 Rs or bdhai hoi thii..’ Claimed another user.

Another netizen wrote:

‘That’s how brands do sale in Pakistan. It’s a total rip-off!’

On the other hand, some people disagreed and said they found good deals and that this is an excuse people make when they don’t know how to shop and make the most of Daraz 11.11 sales.
