The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has allocated a budget of Rs. 350 million for this initiative, which will feature a floating dining boat along with various recreational amenities.
The project includes the addition of seating areas, cafes, and children’s play zones, aiming to transform the canal into a vibrant leisure destination.
To execute the construction, the PHA has shortlisted three companies—Babar & Co, HRD Construction, and Riyaz Enterprises.
Furthermore, the PHA plans to rejuvenate an underutilized picnic spot nearby to attract more visitors and establish the area as a key recreational hub.
