Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the nation’s first café run entirely by differently-abled individuals in Karachi. The café, named Khudee, was launched by the Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) and represents a significant step toward empowering this community and promoting workforce inclusivity.
During the inauguration, the CM praised KVTC’s longstanding efforts in providing vocational training to differently-abled individuals. “KVTC has been a beacon of hope for the differently-abled, equipping them with essential vocational skills,” said Shah. He highlighted that programs like these, especially in culinary arts, have prepared students to meet the demands of professional work environments.
Flanked by provincial ministers Saeed Ghani and Zulfiqar Shah, the CM commended the dedication of KVTC’s team in unlocking the potential of these students. He noted that thanks to their efforts, the students are not only gaining new skills but also excelling in their personal growth.
