IBA faculty, Dr. Irum Saba, Program Director, MS Islamic Banking & Finance Program, and Assistant Professor Department of Finance has become the first Pakistani female to join the Advisory board of the iPORTAL. The portal is an Islamic economy knowledge portal that intends to connect ambition to knowledge and propel innovation.
The Purpose of the Portal?
iPortal’s mission is to expand the Islamic economy while building a value system marked by absolute integrity, the pursuit of excellence, and adherence to responsibilities. The advisory board includes advisors from the world who’ comprise of excellent caliber in multiple fields.

Dr. Irum Saba has many more accomplishments under her belt over the years. She has been featured in Top-300 Women with Influence in Islamic Business and Finance under the WOMANi Programme, which comprises the WOMANi Report and WOMANi Awards founded by Cambridge IFA in 2019.

Dr. Irum Saba was also appointed as Grand Councillor of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF) during the 3rd Annual General Meeting. She is also the first Pakistani who joined this auspicious institution as the Grand Councillor.

Established in 2015, the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF) is a professional body for Islamic finance practitioners where professionals set standards by building the industry’s plan to drive the next phase of Islamic finance human capital development.
