Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddique, has offered Pakistan Cricket Board his son’s match fee to treat woman cricketer Bisma Amjad.
Pakistani woman cricketer Bisma Amjad had suffered a concussion during training practice in Karachi. She was immediately shifted to the nearest hospital. As per Geo News, the board officials had rejected to pay her medical bills. Following that, the cricket board received severe backlash on social media.
Later, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Twitter that ‘as a responsible women’s organization,’ it is looking after its treatment expenses.

Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddique, took it to his Instagram and offered the board her son’s match fee. He said, “… I request PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja to immediately make arrangements for national cricketer Bisma Amjad’s treatment. If a person wearing Pakistan’s star [on their uniform] is helpless, then it means that the nation is helpless.”
Azam’s father referred to the match that took place during the ongoing T20 World Cup on October 24. Pakistan had beaten India by 10 wickets. Since then, the men in green have become national heroes and are on a roll. They are winning matches one after the other. They have become the first team to qualify for the tournament’s semi-finals.
Bisma Amjad told Geo News that she received a head injury while training in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) academy a few days ago. After that, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took her to Aga Khan Hospital timely and got her treatment done.” She added, “I’m feeling much better now. ”
