Pakistan woman players’ cricket-themed wedding shoot has inspired many on the internet.
Every moment on your big day is worth capturing because the emotions are timeless, and the moments won’t return; therefore, it’s okay to do whatever you hope to do. Everything is justifiable.
Pakistani all-rounder Kainat Imtiaz’s wedding photoshoot photos began circulating on social media for being cricket-themed. The photo circulating most online shows her dressed as a bride donning heavy jewelry and a red dress with a bat in her hand.
The photo is truly iconic, given that there is a movement in Pakistan that is redefining gender roles and encourages women to defy all odds. While many people on the internet appreciated the cricket-themed photoshoot, some had the same old, outdated, unwanted opinions.

“Is there a message for the groom? Bat in Bride’s Hand,” tweeted a user on Twitter. We have the same question.

Of course, there were negative comments too.
A user tweeted suggesting Kainat’s husband, “Washing machine lay daitay, aaj kal is se kon lapray dhota hay [should have bought her a washing machine, who washes clothes with this anymore],” suggesting women’s place is in the house doing household chores. Truly a sad comment to read in this time and age.

Another user credited the photoshoot for becoming a reason for low infertility rates in the future. He tweeted, “Europe is facing low fertility rates, Because of this kind of shenanigans in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.”
He added, “If this Bakwas carry on, 2040, we will be having cats and dogs as pets instead of raising children.”
