A French bakery, café, and restaurant, PAUL, that came out back in 1889 has become an international franchise with eateries spanning all across Europe, Asia, America, and the Middle East. The restaurant, known for its warm, welcoming décor and quality products, has finally opened its doors in Karachi’s DHA area.
As of date, the chain has secured a special place in people’s hearts with over 750 outlets in over 46 countries. People of the city were expecting the franchise to open its doors in 2019, but we suspect it was due to the pandemic that the opening delayed to 2021.

The News of the Prestigious World-Renowned European Bakery and Cafe Coming to Pakistan First Broke in 2019
The news first broke when an advertisement appeared in a local newspaper in 2019 that said that the popular french bakery is apparently planning to open up in Karachi, and the franchise is currently hiring individuals for various positions, including restaurant operations manager, head baking operations, pastry chef, and executive assistant with at least 3 years of relevant experience. The ad also stated that these individuals, if chosen, will travel abroad for up to eight weeks for training.
The bakery introduces the world to the French way of baking and has bagged awards like The Tiptree World Bread Award 2014, Baking Industry Award (BIA) (Sept 2014), TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence (Le Restaurant de PAUL/Covent Garden) (Sept 2014) and Bakery Shop Sandwich Award (PAUL Marylebone) (May 2014).
