Farhat Kapadia Mehboob has over 17 years of experience in digital publishing, marketing and content creation. She was the Managing Editor of brandsynario.com, a digital publication under the aegis of the Synergy Group that covers brands across multiple categories. Whilst media marketing was the core, the portal expanded into entertainment, technology and lifestyle. 

In 2015, she also launched VeryFilmi.com an entertainment website for the Synergy Group. She is also responsible for the creation of ‘Syndicate’ an independent content creation company.

Over the course of time, being intricately involved with every aspect of these digital publications, she interviewed many industry leaders, created digital marketing content for campaigns and partnered with industry awards and events including the EFFIE Awards, CANNES LIONS ROAR and AD ASIA.

Farhat has served as a mentor on the Cannes Lions ‘SEE IT BE IT’ initiative that addresses gender imbalance in senior creative leadership.

She also served as a moderator at various events including the SZABIST Media Festival in February 2020.

It features a digital series, LEADHERS that highlights the success stories of women in leading positions in Pakistan over a wide spectrum of the economy. It also showcases women who have broken gender stereotypes to create a wider impact on society. 

It is this aspect that led to the publication getting selected by the Google News Initiative in December 2022 for the Google news Equity Fund. 

Farhat has partnered with many women led initiatives including the British Council Women in Leadership Programme with SEED Ventures in 2023. 

Farhat is passionate about causes that impact society. She served as the President of her school alumni society, from 2020-2022 the OGS ( old Grammarians’ Society that works towards providing financial support for education. She is also a fundraising coordinator for LKMWT , a non- profit working towards the welfare of under priviledged families. She is also a member of the non- profit SRSC that provides rehabilitation for special children.

In 2020, Farhat also founded Alphabyte Digital, a boutique digital agency that provides creative solutions to businesses that typically do not have the expertise in-house.
