A uni dating app has been making rounds on social media because it is connected to one of the best business schools, the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi, Pakistan. Dating is taboo in Pakistan due to religious and cultural reasons and most often happens behind doors.
Dating Apps in Pakistan
Dating apps are popular worldwide, such as Tinder, Bumble and many more. In Pakistan, Tinder was banned by the government to use. Despite the ban, apps such as Tinder and Bumble are popular in the region.
The IBA Dating App
Someone (We are assuming related to IBA) has come out with an app that is dedicated to connecting people online. However, the only people who can connect through this app are people who have been to IBA once or are part of IBA right now, as the signup form requires an email affiliated with IBA that only students and alumni have. The institute provides the email address to update students during the academic year with important notifications.
